NSTEMI Likely

New evidence suggests certain cohorts do not significantly benefit from interventional management over medical management (1). For this reason, an NSTEMI finding (or high pre-test probability alone) may not need immediate escalation.

Does the patient meet any of the following criteria:

  • Rockwood Frailty score >4

  • Age >75yo

  • TEP ceiling of care 'not for admission' or equivalent

  • Established cardiac medical management plan

  • Complex multimorbidity (impacting quality of life or prognosis)​​​

None of the above
