March 2023: There has been a National movement to a state where SARS CoV 2 is accepted as being endemic. Measures implemented to control the spread of the virus and protect the NHS are being changed. Guidance for the screening, preferred clinical location of patients and suitable PPE for staff has all been revised, but may change in the future if the virus increases in prevalence again. This abridged guidance complements the guidance within the RCHT SOP for Respiratory Surge Contingency.
